Miles Walker | Vice President of Engineering
Miles Walker brings over nineteen years of experience in the energy, water, and environmental sectors to the Cambrian Innovation team. As the Vice President of Engineering, Miles is focused on building Cambrian’s commercial deployment capabilities and delivering Cambrian’s projects.
Before joining Cambrian Innovation, Miles was a Senior Vice President at a large water and infrastructure firm and held positions in Utilities Operations and Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) at Harvard University, where he managed environmental programs and developed economic models to determine internal utility costs.
Miles has also held various roles in project development for solar, biomass, wind, anaerobic digestion, and emerging fields such as algae-based biofuels. He led project development efforts for a $35 million advanced biofuels startup, establishing solar biofuels systems in the United States and internationally, and managed innovative renewable technology grants with values over $3 million.
Miles earned a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, and a Master’s Business Administration from Babson College. He was the project manager for a Platts Global Energy Award for “Emissions Energy Project of the Year” and is PMI Credentialed Project Management Professional and LEED AP.
